Me oh my! Look who's 11!

Today we celebrated this crazy duo turning 11!  Yup, you read that right, they are 11!  Today has been a somewhat "normal" day with school finishing up just after 2:30 p.m. and then having fun.  There was a couple visits yesterday and a couple today (all in the doorway).  Not ideal but I think they appreciated people stopping by.  

They each choose a desert that you couldn't put candles into (Skittles and cookie dough) so we got a cake for the rest of us to enjoy and put the candles in that for them to make a wish with.  We sang to Mason first this year.  

Then we relit the candles and sang to Olivier!

And I asked them the silly questions to get an idea of what changes from year to year.  This year there were a few interesting things that changed, and a sign of the times, Google Hangouts (where they can chat with their friends) made the list since it is the closest thing they have to recess now...!

He is 4' 11.25" (almost 5'!)

Mason:

He is 5' 1.5" (Anna is 5' 2" for reference, so she is still taller, somehow she is keeping up!)
