Watch out retirement, here comes Linda!

Today we had the privilege of being on Linda's last tour as a guide at Hearst Castle!  It was a very hot week and Friday was no exception.  

 The Neptune pool is still empty as the finish up the repairs.  It has been a very long project!  And I know it is weird but it was kind of cool to see it empty because you could see how  the depth changes which you can't see when it is full. 

 The grounds are always amazing!

 We got a bit of the behind the scenes tour which was really cool!  And a group shot!

Then it was time for Linda to plunge into retirement!  I think she looks like Wonder Woman! 

 

My parents were able to join us too. 

 As we left the five kids wanted to be totem poles. 

 Such a great time and an end to an adventure!

Happy 4th!

Today we celebrated the 4th of July and David's birthday!  The kids enjoyed a silly string fight.  

 And of course sparklers!  It is tricky trying to get all five with a lit sparkler at the same time! 

And we all enjoyed the fireworks show David displayed!  Instead of dirt worms the kids loved the pooping dog this year.  Lots of giggles and lots of fun!
