Ouch!

Well this weekend had a big ouch for Anna.  She took a rather large fall during her riding lesson yesterday and her back is letting her know that it does not appreciate being fallen on.  Thankfully no damage, just a lot of discomfort.

Otherwise this last week kept busy with things like the refrigerator quitting on us (boo!) and trying to sort out other boring grown up things that just come with being an adult.

Anna will be finish up her last five days of summer school this week and the boys are still enjoying the summer experience program.  Keeping them all busy which is nice!

Happy Father's Day

This week we have moved into summer schedules.  Anna started summer school to get her PE credits done in order to free up room in her busy schedule next school year.  The boys started the summer experience program.  And today we celebrate Father's Day!  I was recently going through our old frames and found these little frames that the kids did at day care back in 2011.  They still totally fit the kids personalities!

Last day of school!

Today we celebrated the last day of school!  We went downtown (thankfully before things got too crazy for open house) and went and tried out axe throwing!  Yup, you read that right!  Here are some photos of each of us.  I did take some "live" photos but they don't work on the blog.

We then walked through downtown for a bit and got some tasty candy!  Then we went to dinner.  I made them take a photo by the door.  Anna and Olivier are standing on the door mat so they have a slight advantage over Mason.  Crazy to see how they have grown!

Water polo! And now rain!

Last Saturday, Olivier had another water polo tournament!  They won the first game 14-4!  And they won the second game 13-5!  It may sound like they were big wins but they were much more challenging games than the last tournament.  And that is a wrap on the season!  He has had a lot of fun and learned a lot about himself and the sport of water polo!

As a treat we give Taz the peanut butter jar after it is empty and he enjoys licking the last tiny bits left behind.  He then becomes very protective of the jar!   We think he is sad his tongue isn't longer to get all the way to the bottom!
This is the last week of school and the kids are counting down!  Only two more days left!  And it is ending with some unusual weather.  It isn't unheard of to have a cool June with fog but we have had lots of cool weather, and last night and today there was rain, and last night we got a bit of lightening and thunder!  Wild!  The kids were thankful that it wasn't their big years in school because that usually involves trips to the pool or somewhere you want it to be warm, and is sure isn't this year!  But Anna is happy that it won't be crazy hot when she has to play with the band for the high school commencement on Friday!
