Cal Poly Mustang Football!

Today the Cal Poly football team played the Montana Grizzlies at Cal Poly.  My uncle was their quarterback so they often come up for the games when they play each other and this year was no exception, and they brought a few extra with them!  

My aunt Lili-Anne having fun with Natalie, Anna and Mason.  And you couldn't have placed that foam finger there if you had tried, silly Anna!

 So we did a redo with more silliness, David, Michelle, Briar, and Olivier hiding Matt. 

 And here is the whole group (there are a few extras int he background).  We were 17 in total. 

And after the game, wait, no, before the game was over we headed to dinner.  It was clear Cal Poly was going to lose (and they did 28-48) and we were hungry.  I really enjoyed being able to chat with my cousin that I haven't seen in I don't even know how long.  

A good time was had by all and my heart is happy seeing family! 

Intense Movie Watching

We have been exploring different books for bedtime reading and recently read the Hobbit and the kids were excited to hear that we would let them watch the movie, all three for one book.  They really loved the story so we decided to let them watch the Lord of the Rings.  Tonight they watched the last one, it was intense!

Happy 35th birthday April!

Today we headed to the beach for dinner and celebration of April's 35th birthday!  Anna loved playing with Corbyn:

And soon Audrey joined them in building a volcano:

The boys were closer to the shore line digging tunnels and using the bucket to add water.  Serious business!

New members of the household

Today we welcomed two new members of the household, Luna and Star.  They are joining Cotten in our cat trio.  He isn't too sure what to think of two female kittens but we have a feeling he will be a great playmate for both of them!

We said good bye unexpectedly to Sushi on July 19th.  On November 17th of last year we said good bye to Copper.  Cotten was feeling very alone.
