Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

Anna is using Rufus as a pillow, just like Daddy does. Never lasts too long though, Rufus is a dog on the go!

First Road Trip

On Friday (2/29/08) morning, after her doctor's appointment, Anna, Matt and I went on our first road trip. It didn't start off so great with lots of traffic (never go through LA on a Friday!). It didn't help that there was an accident in our car pool lane early on in our trip either. We eventually got to our destination and had dinner. We visited with Martine, Brian, Kyle, Hannah, and Nikol for a while before turning in for the night. Anna slept well but kept us up quite a bit because she is a noisy sleeper!

On Saturday we took our time getting ready and made it to Martine's house in the early afternoon after doing some shopping. They picked up my grandma (Anna's great-grandma!) who got to see Anna for the first time. It was a great day and grandma loved holding Anna. She got mad when people were too noisy saying they were going to wake "her baby". It was very cute! Anna's hat matched grandma's sweater too!

On Sunday we visited with Lili-Anne, Danny, Cheyne, and Nikol for most of the day and Martine, Brian, Kyle and Hannah joined us for cards after dinner. Anna was a very good baby and enjoyed "seeing" everyone.

Monday morning we headed home and it was a much smoother trip! It was nice to get out but also nice to be home again.
