Today we had another appointment (well two actually). I met with the dietitian and we went over the diabetes readings and I think everything is on track now. I am a very slow eater and my dinner readings were off, most likely because I was testing too quickly because I eat so slowly. We are going to adjust and see how it goes. Two perfect days in a row, lets hope it keeps up!
We also had an ob appointment. The boys are still breech and seem very cozy in their locations. When we reach 34 weeks (only three weeks away!) we are going to start going for non-stress tests to make sure that the boys are doing well. More and more contractions but no concern at this point. He is very happy with how everything is going.
Only one appointment next week, wow!

Appointment
Today we had an ultrasound appointment and got to see the boys again. They are doing very well, Baby A (Olivier) is 3 pounds 13 ounces and Baby B (Mason) was 3 pounds 14 ounces. They are measuring roughly two weeks ahead of schedule. They are both still breech. Not a surprise unfortunately but a bummer.
And although I am uncomfortable, the doctor mention that there is someone else who is right around the same pregnancy length as us (30 weeks, she is 31 weeks) who is having twins that weight more than six pound EACH right now. I can't even imagine.
We see the ob next week and go for another ultrasound in three weeks!

30 weeks down...? to go
Today marks the 30 week point. Overall I am feeling well but very tired. Considering I am carrying around roughly eight pounds of baby already, that really isn't a surprise. I have an appointment with the dietitian tomorrow about handling diabetes. On Tuesday we have an appointment with the specialist to see how the boys are growing. Should be interesting to hear what he has to say, especially given that I have started having more contractions (don't worry, they are very irregular and it is very common).
At least four more weeks to go. Shooting for November 1st!

Anna sharing her brother's names
In case you didn't follow the comments for the name game post earlier today, we have revealed the boys names! Olivier James and Mason Raoul will be joining us, just a matter of when!
Congratulations to my cousin Lynsey for figuring out the boys names!
Anna can say her brother's names. Still working on the middle names. :-)

Appointment
Today we had an appointment with the ob. We have found out that I am low in iron so I am now taking an iron supplement. I also have gestational diabetes. Overall not good but much more common in twin pregnancies. The boys are still breech but doing very well.
We have an ultrasound next week (Tuesday), and will see the ob again in two weeks. Busy, busy.

Name Game!!!
Okay, some of you had a heads up that this would be coming but we thought we would play a name game as we get closer to the arrival of the boys! We are releasing the letters of the names and when someone gets the names right we WILL confirm! We will post a video of Anna saying their first names too once someone gets them right.
Good luck with the middle names! If no one has gotten all four names in 24 hours, we'll post again listing all letters to be used.
Some letters may be used more than once!
Major hint, spelling counts! :-)

18 month checkup (at 19 months)
Today Anna had her 18 month checkup (yes, she is now 19 months old, we are behind because of the multiple ear infections). It went very well and they are very pleased with all the things that she does and says. She has a large vocabulary for her age and seems to add at least a word a day. Of course most people don't believe us because she is rather shy and quiet around everyone else. She is now 34 inches tall (in the 90th percentile) and weighs 23 pounds and 6 ounces (in the 25th percentile). We are struggling to find pants that are long enough that will stay up!
She got three shots but did very well!

Rooms!
Anna is enjoying her new purple room:
And the boys' room is getting ready! (the bins in the crib are clothes that we are passing around) The red signs on the wall will have their names painted on them soon! :-)
