Halloween Pictures!

Here are some pictures from our Halloween at home. Anna had a very "off" day on Saturday so we stayed in on Sunday and I think all the kids enjoyed it. They were all very good today which was nice!

In the morning we had visitors and got this great photo of all three. Getting harder and harder to do! They all have their own agenda and mood! :-)

At lunch time we took their costumes off (mainly because Olivier is so messy!) and they had fun playing in the playroom with us while Anna was napping. We got this great photo of Mason!

And here is a video of the boys playing in the window. It is longer but it is really funny to see the boys interact and there is a very funny Mason moment towards the end. Perfect for Halloween!


Here is Anna "teaching" the boys as they are playing. It didn't seem like they were being very mindful!

Clap Olivier! Yeah!

Olivier claps! He has been clapping on and off for a little while and I have been meaning to get it on video. Thankfully we were able to get it recorded tonight. He is very proud of himself and it is so cute to see! He loves to point to things and is on the move. He seems to have no fear and when we do hear a cry after a crash we know it was either a major spill or he is very tired.



Here is a sample of a spill that Olivier took and he doesn't even seem to notice!



Not much longer to wait to see the kids in their costumes! We have gotten some good photos and we will work on getting more on Sunday!

Lazy Saturday and Mason showing off his new trick

We had a lazy Saturday which we all enjoyed. We built the play house for the kids. It is the first time the boys have seen it and Anna had fun playing in it with them.

And Mason has a new trick, he waves! At dinner I waved to him and was surprised to see him wave back. After dinner we got these clips of him waving. He was/is not feeling the greatest but we still got it on video!

11 months old!

Olivier and Mason are 11 months old today! It has been an amazing to look back. It was a year ago when I was told that I needed to stop working and try and keep them cooking, and I made it an extra month because of it. It was hard but their good health was/is so worth it!

Olivier: still very sensitive and tends to cry if someone else is. He has one tooth and may have a second one shortly, it doesn't seem to be in a hurry to come up thought. He is crawling like crazy on all fours, pulls himself up to standing and is very adventurous. He has no issue with letting go and falling down to go and explore something else. He is always on the go. Banana is a favorite as well as frozen peas or corn. He has started to clap his hands and likes to play ball with Daddy.
Mason: is still a Mommy's boy. He gives "hugs" (puts his arms real tight down to his sides, leans in and puts his head on your shoulder). He has six teeth and number seven is going to crack through in the day or so (if not overnight tonight!). He still prefers the army crawl and is rather fast considering he is pulling himself on the floor (makes for dirty shirts and some very strong arms). He is still tentative on letting go and going onto his butt when he is standing. He also love bananas and frozen peas and corn.

Run Matt Run!

Today was the City to Sea half marathon! Matt has had more than his share of injuries this year which made him worry about not being able to even finish the race. Not only did he finish, he did better than two years ago when he ran it!

This is for comparison purposes. Two years ago when Matt ran this half marathon, Anna was 8 1/2 month old.

Now, Daddy has his hands and shoulders full! Anna is over 2 1/2 years old, and Olivier and Mason are almost 11 months old! Amazing what two years can change! :-)

Natalie is one!

Today we went to Natalie's 1st birthday party! It is amazing to see how much she has grown and we had fun seeing all the cousins! It is nice that everyone lives so close and we all have little ones around the same age.

Rufus and Lilly

Lilly came to visit Rufus a few days ago and they have a blast chasing each other around the yard. Thankfully they calm down when they come inside. The kids had fun with them. We got this photo of the boys and dogs together. Notice, everyone is happy.


Not sure what happened but Lilly was not too happy in this photo. We just happened to catch it on camera because we didn't see the split second when it happened. Watch out Mason! She is going to keep you in line! :-)
