Government House, Craigdarroch Castle, and Ghost Tour! Oh my!

Today was our first wet day and we started with a tour of the Government House.  This is where the Lieutenant Governor of Vancouver lives to be close to the Legislative Assembly.  It was very cool!

They had beautiful grounds but we didn't explore too much because of the wet weather.
It did dry out a bit so we walked around downtown Victoria a bit and found China Town!
And we all enjoyed a yummy Beaver Tail!
Later in the afternoon we visited the Craigdarroch Castle!  It is amazing how many things one building can be used for (home, hospital, school, etc).  Nice view of the city.

This chair was somewhat randomly in this room and I couldn't help but take Olivier's photo!
Outside the castle!
And we ended the day late with a walking ghost tour!  We wanted it to be closer to dark to add to the impact and opted for a 9 p.m. tour which ended just after 10 p.m. and it still wasn't fully dark out.  The Legislative Assembly sure looked impressive lit up!
