We left the cottage just after 10 a.m. and made our way. We had to stop in Indiana to make sure we could say that we visited four states during our trip. We made it to the house in Chicago around 1:30 p.m. (it is similar to a brownstone house, we have the top floor). After unloading, and getting a few groceries, we went to the park at the end of the street. So different being in a big city. There was a mother with two small girls speaking in fluent French. Not something we see at home!
We walked around a bit to see what was around us and the kids noticed this rabbit in a front yard. They were excited to see it (and we saw others during our time in Chicago), especially after learning just a couple days ago that Brownie (Marcie's dog) goes crazy when you say rabbit. It was nice to have dinner, have the kids shower and go to bed at a more "normal" time.
