This week has been fairly quiet except for one thing, the rain! On Tuesday we got a bit of rain, on Thursday we got almost an inch and a half, and tonight into tomorrow we will likely get another inch. The real piece that everyone is bracing for is the rain that looks like it will hit on Monday and Tuesday with over three and a half inches predicted. With more predicted on Friday through Monday of the following week of nearly three inches. For some this may not seem like much but for us, this is a lot of rain! Thankfully we haven't lost power and haven't had any damage from all the wind.
The kids go back to school on Monday after winter break and hopefully they won't get washed away. It will be an adventure!
