Last two games of the JV season

This week Mason had the last two games of the school JV season.  They finished strong with two more wins!  Matt made some highlight reel videos!  Here is from Tuesday's game:

And from today's game:

Way to go Mason!  And way to go Tigers on a 15-1 season!

More volleyball wins!

Mason's school team got another two wins this week!  These are clips from the game on Tuesday that are some exciting plays by Mason!

Luna has been liking Taz's bed and he is very confused when she goes on it on what he should do.  On Monday morning she was on the edge so he decided he could try sharing.  I don't think she wanted to share though!

Busy week!

Mason had two home volleyball games this week.  And they won both!  Wa hoo!  I am even cheering that they won against the high school I attended.  It is weird once your kid is playing the sport how it is much easier to cheer against your high school!  Here are some photos and videos from the game on Tuesday.

I traveled for work Wednesday afternoon through Friday afternoon so I missed Mason's second game.  On Saturday Olivier went to the jiu jitsu open mat and came back super sweaty (a sign of hard work!) and Anna had a great ride at the barn!

Cal Poly Open House!

Today Anna and I visited Cal Poly for their Open House events!  Anna's activities started with an event in the football stadium, and it started drizzling and just got heavier as time went on so so was very happy for the lunch break and that it was inside!

After lunch we walked around a bit and saw this sign and information about the viewing party for the Artemis II splash down that was going to happen later in the day.  Very exciting - the pilot is a Cal Poly grad!

We were very excited to tour the equine center which has closed off a lot of the horse stuff since it was built.  It is a nice big covered arena!

And in a fun surprise, at the Vet Center Anna got to listen to the heartbeat of a horse (who was a week away from giving birth!).

And she got to ultrasound another horse to see her baby who is due to arrive in a month!

Super cool stuff!

Volleyball games!

Mason's school team is continuing to do really well and got another two wins this week!  Here are some fun video clips and photos from one of Mason's serves that really shows the force that is put into the serve!

Proud of Anna!

Matt and Anna visited Fresno State on March 21st to learn more about their animal science program and they were both very impressed and thankful for the opportunity!  Looks like Anna may be a Bulldog next year!

Still working on sorting out all the pieces but hopefully in the next couple months we will know for sure!  It has been a hectic time applying to college and getting some good news, mixed news and some not what she wanted news.  Having to make some really hard and big decisions is tough and we are proud of her!  So excited for her!

Spring break

Although this was spring break, we kept it nice a quiet at home, especially for Anna who got her wisdom teeth removed on Monday.  Olivier tried to carry Luna and she was brining the blanket along for the ride.  She dropped it right before I was able to get a photo!

On Sunday we hosted dinner with most of Matt's family.  I had to get a photo of these two!  So similar and they were even dressed similarly!

On Thursday Mason has a volleyball game and they got an easy win!

After the game the sun was setting and I got this photo of the work happening to their field (they are getting turf).  Made it looks quite stunning!

And last night on my walk I got this photo of the cows enjoying some dinner.  We had gotten a decent amount of rain but it has stopped and we have had too much heat so the hills are starting to turn brown unfortunately.

Back to school tomorrow!
