Today Anna and I visited Cal Poly for their Open House events! Anna's activities started with an event in the football stadium, and it started drizzling and just got heavier as time went on so so was very happy for the lunch break and that it was inside!
After lunch we walked around a bit and saw this sign and information about the viewing party for the Artemis II splash down that was going to happen later in the day. Very exciting - the pilot is a Cal Poly grad!
We were very excited to tour the equine center which has closed off a lot of the horse stuff since it was built. It is a nice big covered arena!
And in a fun surprise, at the Vet Center Anna got to listen to the heartbeat of a horse (who was a week away from giving birth!).
And she got to ultrasound another horse to see her baby who is due to arrive in a month!
Super cool stuff!
