Anna's silly faces
While trying to get the kids to sing, I took a few photos and managed to get one of Anna's very silly faces. I think she may have been looking for some attention, what do you think?

Anna's ladybug
The kids are getting into smaller and smaller toys. One good example of that is the tiny lady bug that Anna found (it is about the size of a nickle). Trying to make sure it doesn't end up in one of her baby cousin's mouth is going to be tricky for us!

Camera time! (and quick update)
Speaking of accents, Olivier has been using a bit of a southern accent lately. Not sure where he picked it up but it is very cute!
Anna has started swim lessons at school (I know, horrible of me not to go and take pictures but probably better because she is participating a lot more than she would if I was there). She really likes it and says she is learning to float on her back, blow bubbles, do monkey crawls, and a few other things. She has another six weeks of lessons this summer which is a good use for all of her energy!
The kids have been growing like weeds! Mason is about 37 and a half inches tall. For comparison, that is how tall Anna was at her 3 year old checkup and he is 2 and a half. He weights about a pound less than she does now (three more than she did at this height!). And he shows no signs of stopping! Olivier is on the slow and steady track but has reached a big milestone, he is now 36 inches tall. Anna is now tall enough to reach all of our light switches (the are much higher than the standard height) which has been nice, now if she would just remember to turn them off too!

Mason sings the ABC's
In looking at the camera, I realized I never added this video from May 26th. Mason can sing the ABC's but he can't seem to stand still each time he sings. Such a wiggle worm!
Olivier James Arnold
Olivier loves to "remind" of us his name if we call him by a nickname. He is also well aware of his brother and sisters name.
Here he is reminding us that he is silly! :-)

Anna is reading!
Anna has been reading for about a month now! She started with books she has memorized and made it hard for us to tell if she was really reading or just memorizing the books we have. She has been reading other items that she has come across lately, such as the mail, a box of Cheerios, and cards from Father's Day.
Anna got a book in the mail yesterday as part of a book exchange and today she was able to read it from cover to cover all by herself! She makes us so proud! Watch out world, there is another reader! Way to go Anna!
And the book she read was "Can I Play Too?" by Mo Willems.

Father's day
We had a lot of fun on Father's day weekend! To get ready, the kids did a photo to say Dad's and Grandpa's Rule! This is what you get when you ask them to hold their rules up. :-)
On Saturday we enjoyed the warm weather and put the crazy sprinkler on the front lawn. They were a bit scared of how crazy the water sprayed.
Having fun running in the water, with Daddy showing them it is okay to go in the water! On Father's day we spent the morning with the Arnold's at a local park (please e-mail me photos, I didn't take any) and in the evening we had the Remillard's over. I didn't get a photo of Grandpa with kids but did get one of Grandma and all five kiddos. Anna really wanted to hold Rhys but Rhys just did not want it. Hard to explain to Anna that Rhys wants to move when she doesn't walk and run yet.
A cute photo of Rhys looking at Natalie while Anna was trying to hold her.
It was a great weekend! Busy but nice to spend time with family!
