Way to go daddy!!

Today we got to cheer Matt on as he ran the SLO Marathon!  We are so proud of him and so excited to see him reach his goals!  This is Matt as he is approaching the finish line, and sorry, no closer photos, I was too excited to take photos when he was passing us.  :-)
And here are his official race results (as of right now anyway.  He got a PR!

And after we met up with Heather who did the half.  Way to go!  So proud of both of you!

Cal Poly Open House

We took the kids to the Cal Poly Open House.  They enjoyed checking things out and being "triplets".  Maybe someday they will go to school there too (or should I say again since they have all gone to the Children's Center on campus?).

And they were very excited to see Musty.  Olivier didn't want to get too close though!  :-)

Matt the tooth puller strikes again!

Mason's first tooth came in on 5/12/2010, and almost exactly 4 years and 11 months later (on 4/5/15) Mason lost his first tooth (with Matt's help pulling it out of course!).  Mason's second tooth came in on 5/22/2010, and almost exactly 4 years and 11 months later (on 4/16/15) Mason lost his second tooth.  Also with Matt's help pulling it out.  Very much the opposite of Anna, Mason is all about pulling those teeth out and doesn't mind if it hurts a bit or is bloody.  A true boy!

Anna helped Mason write a note to the tooth fairy after he lost his first tooth but this time she wasn't able to help so he did it!  Anna wrote "Dear TF" (tooth fairy).  Then Mason wrote "Wut is ure nam"  (What is your name).  "Ples giv my buth sum pixe dust una  me sum too" (Please give my brother some pixie dust and me some too).   "From Mason"  We are very impressed!  Way to go Mason!
And poor Olivier is still trying to force his teeth to get loose with no luck!

Mason lost his first tooth! (And he let Matt pull it out!)

In the last couple of weeks we noticed Mason had his permanent teeth coming in (the front bottom two teeth).  His baby teeth had been loose for a bit but they got very loose very quick.  The last few days he has been eating off to the side saying that they hurt.  Before bath tonight Matt was flossing Mason's teeth and asked if he could pull it out.  Mason said he could have three tries.  Matt pulled once and Mason said "ow" and told Matt he had two more tries.  But surprise!  The tooth was out!  The Easter bunny stopped by last night and the tooth fairy will tonight!

It was hard to photograph because of the other teeth, his lips, and the new tooth already coming in, so we took a variety.  :-)

Now Olivier is trying to get Matt to pull out one of his teeth even though they aren't loose yet.  Poor guy wants to be visited by the tooth fairy too!

Easter lunch with the Arnold's

Today we had Easter lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Arnold, Tom, April, Eli and Corbyn.  The boys were much too interested in playing games on Tom and April's phones (sigh, boys and their video games) but Matt did hang out with Corbyn for a bit.  She liked the ride!

Anna and Eli enjoyed playing with her new "ping pong" type rackets and balls.  It was great to hear them giggling like crazy!

Happy Easter!

Yesterday we colored some eggs as we prepared for Easter.  We used food coloring on some and on some (while still warm) we used crayons.  The crayon ones are my favorite because the crayon melts on and creates a cool design.  We would need actual egg holders (not the egg carton) to make it more appealing though, because in the carton you can't color half the egg with crayons.  This is all of Olivier's and Anna's food colored ones.
And here are Anna's crayon eggs.
 And all of Mason's.
This morning the kids were very excited to see what the Easter bunny had left and found clothes, sandals, a hollow chocolate bunny, and lots of eggs around the house (there may be one missing still!).
The kids all got a bear in their favorite colors.  The boys were showing them off.  And all three had them along when they went hunting.

Anna's teeth

Anna had three baby teeth pulled today to make room for all those grown up teeth coming in.  She was super brave and the tooth fairy gave her lots of money!  (Sorry for the silly first photo, it was dark in the house and the flash was super bright!)

And after!  (they pulled three of the canine teeth, one had already been pulled by the dentist)
