Today Anna turned 18 months old! Wow! Thankfully she slept through the night and we didn't get the wake up call around 3 a.m. like we have on many of her month-anniversaries, it has been a while. She is a talkative one when she is at home, tends to be shy away from home.
Animals that Anna makes their "sound": dog, cat, cow, chicken, sheep
Body parts that Anna knows: head, hair, face, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, teeth, tongue, chin, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, fingers, belly, butt, leg, knee, foot, and toes.
Songs she really likes: The Wheels on the Bus (very appropriate!!) and Patty cake
She loves to go outside and pick flowers in our yard. She has more hair but not enough to really do anything with yet.
We are starting to get her new room ready. In the next few weeks she will be transition to that room. Such a big girl. And no, her new room won't be pink, it will be purple though. She seems to really like that color.
Our next doctor's appointment is on Monday. Another ultrasound to check on the development of the boys. Hard to believe it could be roughly twelve weeks from now until they arrive. Wow!

Mommy's shoes
Anna had fun walking around in Mommy's shoes tonight. She often tries to wear our flip-flops but those are rather difficult and usually end up on her ankles. Tonight she found a pair of shoes that works and she thought it was a lot of fun.

21 week update
Yesterday I had two doctors appointments. The first was with the specialist to check for signs of pre-term labor. Everything is looking very good on that front and he is very pleased that things are "holding steady". We go back in two weeks for another full ultrasound.
Then it was off to the "regular" doctor. Everything looks very good and they are very please with how things are going. Always nice to hear their heartbeats too! :-)
At our last appointment with the specialist he put me on a lot of restrictions as far as activity which I am doing my best to follow and asking for help to try and make sure I don't over do it. (Thanks again Mom for helping me with the work move!) At the regular appointment yesterday there were more restrictions imposed, they would like me to stay close to home as much as possible now. No trip to Tahoe in September...I am very bummed about that but know that it is in everyone's best interest. We are still planning on taking a week off and will take day trips to the zoo and aquarium but will be home for the most part.
Everything is very good and I will have another update in two weeks when we get our next ultrasound and get to see our two active little boys!

Tubes are in
This morning Anna got tubes in her ears. It went very well and it is a good thing that we did it when we did because she was probably going to be getting another ear infection soon based on what the doctor told us. She had a very rough time coming out of the anesthesia but after lunch time she was doing much better.
We hope that we have this chapter behind us and that Anna will be back to her happy self.
Now we should have a good weekend! :-)
