We celebrated Christmas morning at home and after lunch we went to the Arnold's to celebrate and eat dinner. The kids have grown a lot over the years!
It was a wonderful holiday and we are all ready for some sleep!
Next week they have just three days of school before winter break. And on Monday all three kids will be playing their instruments at the holiday concert at the performing arts center. We are looking forward to it!
This week was fairly normal with the regular activities. This weekend we had a big rain system come through with a lot of wind with it. That cancelled Anna's riding lesson again (boo!) but we are thankful for the rain. The power went out for very short periods of time but we thankfully didn't really have anything significant happen.
On Saturday night, Anna and I braved the elements and went to see her friend Lupe dance in the Nutcracker! It was really fun! We noticed things this year that we either didn't notice last year or they had changed up from last year. Lupe was a gingersnap this year!
The kids are getting excited for the winter break that is quickly approaching!
