Olivier's hair

This afternoon we took the boys to get hair cuts.  They were rather shaggy and well overdue.  We have told them they could cut their hair however they want.  And this time Olivier went for it, he asked for a mohawk.  What do you think?

A bowling good time!

Today we celebrated Gus' 4th birthday by joining a giant group of kids (and their parents) at the bowling alley.  The kids had a great time and I think my hearing is starting to come back...  I didn't take many photos but did manage a couple.  This one makes me giggle, Olivier didn't have the safety delivery method.  

 On that throw he did manage to get a strike!  This is as the pins started to fall.

 Anna was much more serious about it.  It was interesting to watch her bowl in comparison to Gus who was often bowling at the same time as her in the lane next to her.

 Mason was getting the hang of using the finger holes and had the best game he has ever had!

Thanks for inviting us Gus!  And thanks for being our nephew!  We love you!

Happy Birthday!

Where does time go?  As the kids are getting older, so are we!  This year the kids were really into gifts and what the right gift was.  There was some discussion and they settled on a Torkel Pokemon card.  They were so excited about it!  There were a few other gifts that they tried to not rush Matt through opening.  

 Then it was off to play the other gift from the kids!  They really wanted to play and had great focus as they played.

 The kids got a much closer spot than Daddy!

 After dinner, it was time for chocolate cake!  They tell me it was super yummy!  :-)  And you can't tell in the photo but Mason lost another tooth.  He let Matt pull it out.  Olivier still hasn't lost any.  Poor kid is convinced the tooth fairy will never visit him!

Panther Pride!

Today Olivier got an award at school for his hard work in learning Spanish!  He was so excited and had a huge grin on his face.  And so did we!  We are so proud of all the hard work the kids have put into school and how well they have done!  Well done Olivier!

Father Daughter Dance!

Matt took Anna to the Father Daughter dance again this year.  She was thrilled and made sure her daddy was on the move the entire time!  :-)  She has sure grown up in the last year and there is so much still ahead of her!

Butterflies!

The kids didn't have school today and with the crazy warm weather I thought we would go check out the monarch butterflies.  I was a bit bummed that there weren't as many as past year, maybe they were all out and about since it was so warm, but the kids didn't seem to mind.  

I have three grown butterflies!

Horse Trail Ride!

Today Anna got to enjoy her birthday gift from Grandpa and Grandma Arnold.  She went on a trail ride on a local mountain with Grandma Linda.  Her horse is called Utah and Grandma's is Frank!  Such a great day to be out and about!  Anna was very excited that Utah had a pink blanket.

 We took the boys to see the hotel and they weren't nearly as impressed as I would have thought.
