Pumpkin picking time!

Today we went out and picked our pumpkins for Halloween!  It is hard to believe that Halloween is less than two weeks away, maybe because it really doesn't feel like fall.  And we were not the only ones who decided to go today!  We decided to go where we took the kids four years ago.  It is rather amazing looking back at them, Anna was two and a half, and the boys were 10 months old.  Wow...
And today!  I do have to say, it seemed almost as hard to get a photo now as it did four years ago!
They enjoyed walking on the top of a kid sized maze.  Mason really liked the full size hay maze, not so sure on Anna and Olivier.
I was able to get some good shots of each kid, still amazes me at how much they have grown...  Anna insisted on wearing her cat ears (and no, she is not going to be a cat for Halloween).
 Mason smiled!  Yeah!
And Olivier stopped for a moment to humor me!  :-)
She can't be this grown up, can she?
Trying to work some shade in to take Mason's photo in the tree.
And Mr. Olivier, very excited to pick pumpkins!
 Our crew!
They had a very old, rusted out tractor that the kids could sit on and play with a bit.  We had to go a couple of times and wait but they were sure happy when they got a turn!
 Watch out, here they come!
Taking a photo of Olivier that Mason decided to join!
We are now fully stocked with pumpkins!

Half way through the soccer "season"

The kids are now half way through the soccer season.  They seem to be really enjoying it.  Last week Anna scored the only goal during the scrimmage, very exciting!  Here is a short clip of her during warm ups last week.
The boys were very exciting that they got real soccer jerseys this week.  Here is a video clip that shows each of them at the end of practice when they all get to make a goal.  (Olivier is in the first part, Mason in the second).

Run, Run, Daddy, Run!

Today Matt ran the City to Sea half marathon!  This is the fourth time he has run it and each year the weather keeps us on our toes.  This year it was a cool morning (low 50's) but got up to over 90 by noon.  Yikes!  Thankfully the run is very early and Matt was able to avoid most of the heat.

The kids and I arrived at the park a bit early and they played before the ran the kids fun run.  A bit tricky because Mason wanted to run it with me, holding hands.  Thankfully Anna and Olivier ran on their own.  It is hard to run with a backpack full of stuff for the kids and Matt!  Yikes!  They all finished and got metals.  They got the first three bibs too!  (Sorry for the crummy photo of them, they were getting warm so the shirts with the numbers were coming off but I wanted a photo of them on first).
(Many thanks to Leslie for getting and sending this photo!  It is much better and shows the kiddos with their metals!)
Matt was all smiles as he made the home stretch!
And a quick stop just before the finish line to give a hug to his three amazing kiddos!
And the five of us enjoying the view!
Way to go Daddy!  We are very proud of you!  (And thank you for no over doing it and getting hurt!)  :-)

Baby Corbyn's Baby Shower!

Today we showered Tom and April and Eli as they await the addition of Corbyn!  (By the way, it was really cute to hear how confused the boys were about what a baby shower is.  Mason got rather upset on the way home because he missed the "shower".)

There are a bunch of photos (thank you Heather for your help!).

We can't wait to meet you Corbyn!

Happy 5th Birthday Natalie!

The 5th birthday party season has started!  So exciting to see how much has changed in the last five years.  I was going through the many photos and found this sweet photo from our visit about nine days after Natalie was born.  Anna was 20 months old and my belly is huge with two growing boys. So happy to have a new addition to the family!
And here she is now, enjoying a gymnastics birthday party and cupcakes with all her friends!
Happy Birthday Miss. Natalie!  We can't wait to see what the year ahead holds for you!  We love you!
