Writing Birthday and Holiday Songs

Today Anna's class had a writing "birthday" (we aren't really sure what that means, I think it means they are making progress but not really sure).  After, they sang holiday songs.  It was really cute to see all the kids having fun and singing in both English and Spanish.  Oh, and it was pajama day!  :-)

Tea party time!

Today we had a great time getting into the holiday spirit with all the Remillard and Arnold cousins together!  The kids made these adorable snowmen from clay, they turned out great!  And so much personality!  

They also enjoyed lunch together with some tea!  Anna, Lina, and Natalie.

 And we enjoyed some fresh air in the beautiful weather (although I think we all wish it was raining).

Christmas Parade with Grandma Arnold!

Today we enjoyed great Christmas parade and the kids got a LOT of candy which they were very happy about!  It was nice weather, cool but not cold.  We could really use the rain but it is nice to enjoy the holiday events with beautiful weather!  The kids had a great time with Grandma!  

Lunch with Great Grandma!

Today all the Remillard great grand kids surprised Great Grandma Pauline for her 85th Birthday!  She was very excited and loved seeing all the kids.  And the kids had lunch at McDonald's, they weren't about to complain about that!  Ha ha!

Family Photos!

We took family photos at the beginning of November and they turned out great!  It has been fun to see the kids grow and change over the last three years worth of photos.  A lot less bribing was needed this year too which was nice!  :-)

Run Run Mommy!

Tania ran the SLO Reindeer Run 5K today!  Costumes were encouraged and Tania and Jenni didn't disappoint.  Great determination to get out on a cold and rainy morning!

The kids were promised splashing and rain if they hurried to get ready to surprise Mommy on the course.  She thought we'd all be sleeping in or at least staying inside our warm, dry house but we were ready to cheer her on!

We decided to surprise Mommy again by driving over to the finish area to cheer her on even more!  The kids found Santa and got their picture with him so they got their own surprise!

Christmas parade

To kick off the holiday season we went to the Christmas parade!  After a day celebrating with family we took a short walk and got one of the last curb spots for the parade.  The weather was unseasonably warm which made it very nice parade watching weather.  :-) 

I didn't take too many photos during the parade but here are a couple from the beginning.  

I got a short video clip of Rhys dancing to the music from the band.  It was really cute to watch.  (I messed with the brightness so you could see her better since it was rather dark out.)

It was our second year getting together and going to the parade.  It has been so much fun that I hope to make it an annual tradition!
