Happy 2nd Birthday Rhys!

Today we had a great time celebrating Rhys' 2nd Birthday!  I do have to wonder if Olivier was more excited about the birthday or being able to play with Natalie's Jeep again!  Ha ha!  Another beautiful day to celebrate a very happy little girl!

Saying "cheese"!
Being very good while everyone sings!  (And yes, the candle is not lit, the wind would not cooperate.)
She did a great job opening her gifts and cards.
And her favorite gift was this baby which is nearly as big as she is!

Park time!

We took the kids to the park today!  When we went to the baseball game last weekend the kids saw the really tall slide at the nearby park and asked to go back, so we did!  They had a great time on the slide and it was surprisingly warm after a foggy morning.

Mason at the top of the slide.
Anna at the top making a funny face (and this is the closest I got to a picture of the whole slide).
 Anna had some crazy hair!!
Olivier was very hard to catch, too busy running around!
I did manage to get a great photo of Mason!

Take me out to the ball game!

Today on a whim, we took the kids to a Blues baseball game.  It was at four so we were able to stay for the entire game to see the Blues win in the bottom of the 9th!  They did really well (all things considered) and it was a fun thing to do on a beautiful Saturday afternoon!

4th of July fun!

Shame on me for not taking a single photo of our celebration, thankfully Michelle took some great photos of the kids.  We headed over to my parents to celebrate my brother's birthday.  The kids were very excited to be able to see Natalie and Rhys again but, as Olivier said, "can't we go to Natalie's house instead so I can drive the Jeep?"

After playing, dinner, and desert (yummy birthday treats including the cookies they made that morning), it was time for fireworks.  We didn't go to a show since we had to work the next day (bummer I know) and the kids had "school" but we got some sparklers, poppers, and snakes (although the kids decided they should be called dirt worms).

They all did such a great job taking turns and sharing!
And Michelle even got a photo of all five of them!  Rhys, Mason, Anna, Olivier and Natalie
Since none of the kids had used sparklers before they were a bit scared, not knowing what was about to happen.

This is the reaction to the first "dirt worm".  Love the varying reactions.

Love all the smiles and celebrations!

Anna's second loose tooth came out!

Anna lost her second tooth! And the top two are loose!  We will have a visitor in our house tonight!

Aprons

The kids were very excited to make cookies with Daddy, although I forgot during cookie making, they enjoyed wearing their aprons that Grandma made them.
