Happy Anniversary

Just wanted to say Happy 7th Anniversary to the love of my life, I love you Matt! Thank you for all that you are and for our wonderful family! I love you!

Busy Thursday with Daddy - and new accessory!

Anna spent the day with Daddy on Thursday. We had breakfast together before I went off for a girls day. Anna is quite the talker, the video below is of her after we finished eating.

Anna is showing off her new accessory below! She looks very cute with garnet on her ears! :-) Daddy got it done (with Mommy's permission). Anna looks like such a big girl now!

Walking all on her own!!!!!!

Today is an exciting day (and a bit emotional for me!), ANNA TOOK HER FIRST STEPS ALL ON HER OWN!!!! I was sitting on the ground with my legs streched out in front of me. Anna came over to my feet, stood herself up, and took three step to me for a hug! I am in shock to think that our baby girl is walking!

Below is a video of Anna going between us and you can see how much steadier she is on her feet, she even checks her balance a few times! Lina was with us tonight too but not to excited. We tried to get her and Anna to walk after one of our cats, Lina thought that was fun, Anna had no clue what we meant! :-) We were able to get her to walk from us to the sofa and back, she seems excited about trying it out all on her own!

Sunglasses

Anna got her eyes checked in mid December and it was very strongly recommended that we get her used to sunglasses (especially given Daddy's very pale eyes) so we got a pair and are working on getting Anna used to the idea. We know they won't stay on long now but she will get used to them and they will start to stay on longer.

She looks very cute in them! :-)

New Year's

We went up to Sunnyvale for New Year's to celebrate with Daneya, Ed, Connor and Ryan. We had a great time and it was fun to see the boys and Anna interact.

11 months - photo!

As promised, here is Anna's photo (taken the next morning!). :-)

11 months old!!!

Anna is eleven months old today and we are in shock! The next month will be very busy (especially with the upcoming trip to Hawaii!) but we will try our best to keep everyone updated. Anna says up when she wants to be picked up, points to our Christmas tree and says "oo oo" for the train, and says "at" when she sees a cat (or dog or probably anything furry!). She continues to take a few steps here and there and is getting more daring and much more steady on her feet. She eats almost everything we eat and is getting the hang of a sippy cup. She is very active and is our silly girl. We once again got a middle of the night wake up call on this month-aversary

We were bad parents though, we didn't get her picture today! I know, we are in trouble! We will try and get one tomorrow but probably won't post for a few days because we will be traveling.
