Gus' 2nd Birthday Party

Today we celebrated this little guy turning two!  Can't believe how fast all the kids are growing up!  

Haircuts!

Today all three kids got haircuts; actually, I should say all four because Matt cut his hair as well!  :-)  The boys were in dire need and it has been a very, very long time since Anna has gotten one.  Here are some before (from a week or two ago) and after photos.

Anna wrote a sweet note to her school principal and he wrote back. :-) What a great school!

Another tooth bites the dust

Anna lost another tooth today!  That brings the count up to four teeth that have come out.  The two top ones are loose but still have a while to go...at Anna's pace it may be a few more months!  I love this silly photo showing the two gaps on the bottom.  The bottom center teeth are coming up more which I think is why the surrounding baby teeth finally gave up.  Exciting times!

Another trip to the park!

Today we took another trip to the park but this time Anna came along.  I wanted to get a couple of photos of her since she seems to be growing like crazy lately!  

I love this photo because it really seems to show her just being Anna.  

 And just getting annoyed with me taking her picture now!  :-)  ha ha!

Time with the boys at the park

Today I took the boys to the park for a bit and enjoyed taking some photos.  It is amazing to see how they have grown, and all that shaggy hair.  They had a great time and enjoyed showing off how they slide down the pole and how close they are to going across the monkey bars without help (they probably can but since Mom is there they won't even try alone).

 And when I told Mason to look at me, he got upset and said he was.  Olivier decided to stick out his tongue in reaction to my frustration.  Gotta smile at that.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Today the kids had a great time celebrating Valentine's day!  Anna gave away heart cookie cutters, Mason gave away small shovels (pencil sized - with a card that said I dig you!), and Olivier gave away little cars.  I for one, won't complain about not giving away candy.  It makes things easier all around.  

After they got home the boys kept asking Matt for "shoulder" rides and he decided to offer wheelbarrow rides instead.  Reminds me of the many rides I got as a kid!  And I think Matt got as tired as my dad did!  Whew!

After dinner we asked Olivier to go wash his hands.  This is the sound he decided to make while doing it.  This boy loves his cars!  He did get upset that Matt made a Lightning McQueen Valentine instead of Mike from Monsters Inc (Mason got Sully) but he wasn't about to give up Lightning either.  

Hope everyone got to spend the day with those they love!  

And in case anyone is keeping track, Anna lost tooth number three on Monday!  She has three more loose teeth (two are very loose).  Poor tooth fairy is struggling with it though, Anna has been trying to "catch" the tooth fairy which is making things "interesting".  :-)
