Christmas activities

We had a wonderful Christmas! We spent Christmas morning at home with the kids, then off to the Arnold's for Christmas dinner with everyone. On Sunday we were off to the Remillard's (after a short visit with the Denson's). The boys handled everything very well and Anna loved being able to open not only her gifts, but the boys as well! She felt very spoiled (and she was!).

Here are the boys in their Christmas outfits. Olivier and Mason look so small in the 0 - 3 month clothes (at least weight wise, the length was fairly close but they are still on the skinny side)! We never got a photo of all three of them in the Christmas outfits.

This is how Anna likes to ride in the car with her brothers now. This was taken on our way to the Arnold's on Christmas day. Anna in her sunglasses holding the boys hands. And yes, she has enough hair that we can kind of do something with it. Hard to believe it has taken almost two years!

Anna enjoys comforting the boys when they are on the ground and she wanted to help Natalie when we celebrated Christmas with the Remillard's. She is a big helper!

Tutu

Today Santa visited daycare! Anna wouldn't get within five feet of him (even with Daddy holding her there were big crocodile tears). Poor Anna! We didn't get any photos, she was facing the away from me. Sorry!

Rhonda made her a tutu which she loves! Here is a photo of her at daycare with Rhonda. When we got home she finally decided it was okay to show us her moves. Here are a couple of clips from the video right when we got home, and she has been dancing ever since!

Lina and Anna had a great time playing together last night and watching the train go around our tree. Very cute girls! They are growing so quickly! Later in the video (not posting this part because it is rather boring without the girls in it!), Lina climbed down and came over and gave me a surprise kiss on the cheek then went back to jumping. Very cute!

1 month checkup!

Today the boys went for their one month checkup. They are tiny! We found out that they should catch up to a full term baby when they are roughly six months old. They seem so big to us but comparatively they are on the small side.

Olivier
Weight: 8 lbs 2 oz - 11th percentile
Height: 21 1/2 inches - 37th percentile
Head Circumference: 36 cm - 10th percentile

Mason
Weight: 8 lbs 9 oz - 17th percentile
Height: 21 1/2 inches - 37th percentile
Head Circumference: 36.5 cm - 15th percentile

They got their second dose of the Hepatitis B vaccine and did very well with it. They will go back in a month and we will see how big they are then!

One month old!

Wow! Where does time go? It is hard to believe that the boys are a month old! They are growing like weeds. Olivier now weighs about 8 lbs 6.5 oz, and Mason weighs about 9 lbs. We didn't try and measure them but that will happen next Friday when we go to the doctor for their one month checkup.

Matt got some good photos this morning. This one is of Mason and Olivier. Look, they're awake! Olivier is squishing Mason's head a bit though, at least they are close! Ha, ha!
And here is a cute one of Mason, Anna and Olivier. All three are happy, wow! :-)

Here is a cute video that Matt got of Anna dancing Wednesday morning. She has a lot of energy! :-)

Tree

Anna is very happy to see all the Christmas decorations. She calls the tree Christmas! Very cute! She likes the lights on the house and she seems to remember some of the toys from last year. We have to wait to put anything under the tree because Anna loves to unwrap gifts. It will be a fun Christmas!

The boys are getting bigger by the day! They are spending more time awake (we try and force that to be during the day and not in the middle of the night) and they are checking everything out.

Thanksgiving

We had a very nice Thanksgiving. In the morning the Arnold clan gathered at our house for brunch, and in the afternoon the Remillard clan gathered at Grandma and Grandpa's house for dinner. It was a busy day! And that night the boys slept very well! :-) A nice bonus!

Welcome Audrey!

Anna, Olivier, and Mason have a new cousin! Audrey Opal was born this morning at 1:24 a.m. and weighed in at 7 pounds, 13 ounces, and is 20 inches long. Joe, Heather and Audrey are all doing well and Lina is now a big sister just like Anna!

Anna has a new trick. She surprised us tonight and we were able to catch it on video. She continues to be our silly girl!

We are home!!!

We came home today! Yeah! It was a long discharge process, delayed by doctors taking their time because it is the weekend and they don't have appointments waiting on them back at the office. Eventually we got all the paperwork done and we are free! :-)

Welcome, Olivier & Mason!

This is Michelle posting a few pictures. The boys were about 3 hours old here. I only saw them for a few minutes in between their testings. The family was having some bonding time when I left, so maybe I will get more pictures tonight.
