Sheriff's Day!

This morning we took the kids to Sheriff's Day.  They really enjoyed it again this year.  It made for a busy day and with the colds Matt and and kids have, we sure hope for some good sleep tonight!  

Anna was the brave one this year and she did the high rope line.  

Olivier and Mason went on the shorter course.

We went to check out a couple of booths and the jaws of life for a bit, then we watched a couple of helicopters land.  The first one was a medical helicopter.

We had an up close view of this helicopter landing moments later.

The kids then got a chance to sit in the helicopter.  Olivier even got to try on the helmet!

They all got to sit in the Viper.  Their faces are shaded but they enjoyed it!

After more walking around (and stopping by PG&E's table) the kids got to check out a rescue vehicle.  Olivier is a silly one!

Today we enjoyed a horse girls trip!  Grandma Linda heard about an open house at a horse ranch and we joined her, along with April and Corbyn.  

 I think the horse thought Corbyn's pigtail was a carrot!

 They had horse shoes for the kids.  Both girls decorated one.
