A visit to the museum!

A while back the kids visited a local museum on a day they had off but I had to work.  Since then they have been asking to go back and today seemed like a good day to do it.  They had a lot of fun exploring the exhibits.  They had fun putting on a show for us as we reached the far side of the museum.  Anna did not want her photo taken.  :-)

Mason almost always had two puppets and Olivier really liked the shark.

 And since they were struggling to turn around for a photo, here is the view they enjoyed once we went outside.

 And, of course I kept trying to get a good photo of Anna.  And here it is!

Visit the ponies!

As part of Lina's birthday celebration, we joined with family to pet the ponies.  The kids really enjoyed it and the bonus was the tractor that they enjoyed exploring.

Trying to get these three three-year olds to turn around for a group shot was impossible, so I took one from behind.  Olivier, Audrey and Mason.

Gus also enjoyed the tractor.  Couldn't get a shot of Eli but did manage to get him off in the background.  Should have taken the camera out at the park to get better shots of Eli and Audrey.  Enjoyed just watching them run around though!  :-)

Evening with just the boys!

Tonight Anna is attending Lina's 6th birthday sleepover (not sure it will involve any "sleep" but she is thrilled and we continue to be in shock that Lina is 6!!).  We decided to spoil the boys a bit and we went shopping and let them pick out a few new shirts, we gave Olivier a Lightning McQueen hat, and Mason got an Angry Birds watch.  We also took them out to dinner, Mason loved his chocolate chip pancakes.  They have been very good and it has been fun spending some time with our boys.  Craft project for tomorrow before we pick up Anna.

 Mason loves the color blue and didn't like seeing the supply of blue shirts dwindle down so he was thrilled to pick out a blue monkey shirt today and he got a watch!  What a big boy!

Amgen Bike Race

Today Matt and I went about a block from my office and watched the Amgen Bike Race as the whizzed by on their way to the finish line about ten miles away.  Amazing how fast they go, and how many support vehicle follow them!

Mama meet Harry

To wrap up our Mother's day we spent the afternoon in the backyard when Matt discovered a lizard.  Anna was thrilled when Matt was able to grab it and she could pet it.  Once it settled down she was able to hold it; can you tell she is excited? 

 Of course Olivier then wanted a turn.

 

 So Mason decided it must be safe. 

 Then Matt decided to put the lizard on his head, of course that set off a new round of "my turns". 

After some discussion, the kids decided to name the lizard Harry.  He is still happily living outdoors.  :-)

Happy Mother's Day

We enjoyed the beautiful weather with my parent, David, Michelle, Natalie and Rhys. Happy kids means I am a happy mom! More photos to come (I forgot my camera!) and we will be getting together with the Arnold's soon!
