Marathon!

Matt ran his first marathon today! He did an awesome job and finish at 3 hours 47 minutes and 30 seconds! Anna and I are so proud of him and got to cheer him on during the last little bit! Such an amazing accomplishment! I will post photos when we get home!

Appointments

Today was a day full of appointments! We started the day off with a follow up on Anna's ear infection. Thankfully the ear infection is gone but we are not out of the woods yet. There is fluid behind her eardrum that will be closely monitored in the coming weeks. If it doesn't clear on it's own she may have to get tubes in her ears. We are hopeful that it will clear on it's own and we won't have any more ear infections for a long time! She got three shots and after she got some love from Mom and Dad she was good to go again. Such a trouper!

This afternoon I had a doctor's appointment and, although there wasn't really anything new that we learned, it was extremely reassuring. We got to hear the babies heartbeats and ask our questions and find out about what is ahead. There are a lot more unknowns with this pregnancy that it does make it more stressful. We will go back in four weeks and then start on the ultrasound schedule in order to monitor their growth and make sure that they won't be making their grand entrance too early. :-) Lots of appointments to come.

Matt is a busy guy putting up with a crazy wife and busy Anna Banana! This weekend is all about him though! San Diego here we come! White lightning! :-)

Lina's 2nd Birthday party!

On Saturday we went to the park to celebrate Lina's 2nd birthday! It is hard to believe she will be two later this week! Wow! Where does the time go? It was a fairy theme and all the girls got wings. Anna did very well with leaving them on. It was cute to see all the excitement!

On Sunday we went to the Strawberry festival and enjoyed walking around and checking everything out. On Monday we did some chores around the house and enjoyed going out for a walk Rufus. Anna had a great time and talked the whole time she was in the wagon. A great three day weekend!

Next Sunday is Matt's marathon! Exciting trip to San Diego!

Visit to the Barn and Ultrasound appointment

On Wednesday Anna and I went to the Avila Valley Barn to visit the animals. She had a great time seeing all the animals. She got to see lots of goats which seemed to be her favorite of all the animals, most likely because they were the only ones that would come close and let her pet them. :-)

Now...our ultrasound appointment went very well! We got to see both babies, and just like Anna they are camera shy! They turned their back to us for a while but eventually they turned and we got to see them. It is so reassuring to see them and hear their heartbeats. Everything looks very good and they are measuring right on track. We have some photos that I will try and remember to scan tomorrow and post. We have an ob appointment on Tuesday late in the afternoon so we should have another update then. Still working on nicknames that are gender neutral.

Happy Day

Just a quick note to wish Mom and Dad a happy 35th wedding anniversary! We hope you have a wonderful vacation in Arizona!
