4th Stripe!

 Today Olivier earned his 4th stripe on his grey belt at jiu jitsu!  Way to go Olivier!

Merry Christmas!

On Christmas Eve we made sure the chocolate drop cookies that Anna made and milk were left for Santa on the mantle.  

And the excitement started with opening stockings and after that I didn't take any more photos!  It was a great day and we had fun spoiling each other!

Christmas Celebrations Kick Off!

Today we started the Christmas celebrations with the Remillard family gathering.  We started by playing a game and then decorated a couple gingerbread houses.  Sounds easier than it is but thankfully they were already built for the most part and we were just decorating.  It was fun to see the different ideas using the same supplies!

I didn't get a photo of the finished projects, sorry!  After dinner it was time for stocking from grandma!

Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary!

Today we celebrated Mark and Linda's 50th anniversary with a dinner together!  It was a nice way to kick of the holidays with such a special event!

Music to our ears!

Tonight we enjoyed a holiday concert put on by the middle and high school bands.  It was a great concert!

At the end of the concert, all of the students got on the stage and played "All I Want for Christmas is You" and it made for a very full stage!

It was a fun way to end a fun night!  We were all fancy!

Getting ready!

Not much to post other than getting ready!  There is a big band concert tomorrow, what might be a lot of rain coming, and oh, maybe Christmas!  Ha ha!  Lots of things mixed between now and then but for now we are enjoying the chance to get ready for those events!  

It's the Nutcracker Time of Year!

This week has been busy and Matt had a full plate while I was away on Wednesday and Thursday for work.  But on the bright side, Anna and I went to see Lupe in the Nutcracker again this year!  She was a rag doll in the first act and a bon bon in the second act!  So fun to see how much these two support each other!  

Thankful for a week where we don't have a bunch of extra stuff happening and no one is traveling!  Wa hoo!   

Busy...but what's new?

This week I was traveling for work and got a rare treat to see a minor league hockey game!  It was the San Diego Gulls versus the Texas Stars.  It was a rather rough start of the game but the Gulls managed to tie it up and take it to overtime.  They did lose the game but it was a fun to see a close game!  

And on Friday night, all three of the kids played with the high school marching band in the holiday parade!  Kind of like a game of Where's Waldo, see if you can spot them in these photos!  

Can you tell where Olivier was?  Sorry the video is a bit all over the place, I was more focused on enjoying the moment!

And yesterday Mason had his last trip to Fresno for the year.  They played two games and he played setter in both!  He is thinking he prefers the blocker position but still enjoyed it.  

The next volleyball event won't be until January so we will all rest and get ready for then!
