Closing out 2015

We closed out 2015 with Grandpa and Grandma Arnold watching the Alabama versus Michigan State football game.  The kids were a bit on the wild side but were happy that they still got bubbly apple juice and poppers!

They were all excited when I tucked them in and said I would see them next year!  :-)

Mini Golf and Golf Carts

Since we have been busy with house projects during this break, we decided to take some time out of the house with the kids and spend some time doing something different.  So, we took them to mini golf!  They did really well and had fun with it, even when it got frustrating.

After a round of mini golf, we let them go on the go carts.  they were all very excited!

A photo of the three of them, although it is hard to see Olivier in the shadows.
A fun time was had by all!

Ride on the bridge

The boys love to ride their bikes, which requires us to leave our yard and take them to the park!  Thankfully it is right behind our house.  One of the access points to the park from the surrounding neighborhood is a cool bridge that provides a good spot to work on controlling speed.  This is a look up the bridge and walkway.
The one photo that came out of Mason coming down.
Anna coming down.  Yes, her bike is way too small.  And yes, she is wearing cowgirl boots!
And here is Olivier flying down.  Didn't I mentioned they needed to work on controlling speed earlier...
And Mason having a blast enjoying the ride.

Merry Christmas afternoon and dinner!

This afternoon we were lucky enough to spend it with Matt's parents, brothers, sisters, and nieces and nephews!  We are a large crew now and it makes for a crazy time!  We were the first to arrive so I took a photo of the kids with the tree!
And once all the kiddos had arrived, it was photo time with Grandma!
Corbyn was enjoying a chocolate covered pretzel that Grandma made.
 Can you tell?
Then it was gift time!  I went around the room a couple of times as the kids were opening gifts to try and cover some of the action.  Lots to see!

(And yes, this is the only photo of Mason who was to my left and it is blurry because Anna to my right was tapping my arm to help open her gifts.)

Lots of fun, good food, and lets hope, lots of good sleep tonight.  Enjoying our family!

Christmas morning!

Santa visited us in the night and left goodies for the kids and filled all our stockings!
I tried to take a photo of the kids running down the stairs but only managed to catch Mason as he slid on the stairs!
Off to check out their stockings!
Santa gave them a lot of small Pokemon characters, activity books, calendars, underwear for the boys, and undershirts for Anna.
It was great to see them pull all the items out and compare.  After stockings we ate breakfast.
Then it was back to gifts!  We started with the gifts from Santa of course.  Anna went first...
And she got a new Nerf bow.
 Then Olivier went...
And he got a light saber flashlight.
Mason went next and got a flying Minon.
Anna got her my size Barbie from Santa.
Olivier got a Loopin Chewie game.
And Mason opened the last gift from Santa...
A fur real friend panda bear named Pom Pom.
Anna is excited to have her Barbie.
Then it was on to gifts from us.
Anna's first gift was her boots!
She is a happy cowgirl now!
 Olivier got a Minon game.
Mason got an arts and craft project.
 And a Chasin' Cheeky game.
Olivier got a Ninja turtle costume.
Anna got a pug dog Fur Real Friend.
And here is Olivier in his ninja turtle costume!
Mason got a mini bowling set.
 And a Spiderman game.
Anna got a horse for her dolls.
And Olivier got a Nerf target game.
All three kids got Blue Ray movies (after Daddy opened his gift!).  :-)
Matt opening the gift from Mason.  His wooden hearts and a pet rock!
The kids were very excited to have Matt open the gift from them.
It is a holder for his metals and bibs from his races.
They all made him bibs and metals.  :-)
Olivier got a Minon pin ball game which both boys love.  We love it more now that there is tape over the speaker!
Anna showing off her new horse with her doll.
And she got dressed for the day with her new boots!
It was a great morning!  We had a wonderful morning and have much to be thankful for!
