Marathon

Today Matt ran his second full marathon!  Yes, he is that crazy!  :-)  He finished in 4 hours (I will update when I can find the official results but as or right now they haven't posted anything official).  He has had some major injuries while training that have been scary to see.  He kept with it and did a great job!  We went to finish line to cheer him on (as well as a few others) and somehow I didn't get any photos, too busy keeping the kids from climbing too high on the fence and in a certain spot.  They were thrilled to cheer him in!  

Go Daddy go!  And as Anna's sign said: "Go!  Run!  Charge!  Sprint!  Dad!"

We are proud of you!  Job well done!

Aerials class

Anna has been going to a once a month aerials glass that is held at the gym where the kids go to gymnastics.  She loves being able to hang upside down and spin.  She is very afraid to let go but it getting more and more confident which is exciting to see!

Writing Celebration

Today Anna had her first writing celebration in Spanish!  As the learn about different types of writing (instructional, fiction, persuasive, etc), they have a little writing celebration in the class.  I went and enjoyed hearing her read her story in Spanish!  Way to go Anna!

Easter!

Easter morning had the kids very excited!  Anna was especially excited because the tooth fairy had also visited overnight!  Whoa!  Talk about a busy house!  

First the kids checked out the goodies the Easter bunny left in their baskets.  They had stickers, tattoos, socks, a chocolate bunny, and an egg with money in it!  Wow!  

After the baskets were check out, it was off to find all the eggs!  It was fun to watch them find some really easily and others not so well!  :-)

Like this one of the boys, they both walked right past the table with two eggs sitting right in view. Ha ha!  

 And the aftermath.  Lots of special treats!  Thank goodness they like to brush their teeth!  :-)

Six down

Today tooth number six bit the dust.  It made Anna talk a little funny as she adjusted to having no front teeth!  :-)

Tonight I wanted to take some photos of the kids as they were just enjoying hanging out and having fun!  Olivier had fun showing me his flashlight that I gave him after a recent business trip.  

Mason was deep in thought as he worked on his Easter egg project.  

And Anna enjoyed some Spanish reading!  

And this is what Mason was so focused on!  Looks like a person running that is made out of Easter eggs.  He was very proud of the fingers on the hands and the very big smile.  

Ah, life is good!  

Jumping Jacks

The boys were trying to do jumping jacks and in order to show them how they were doing I took videos.  They had a great time and enjoyed being a bit silly, can you tell?
