9 month checkup

Today the boys had their nine month checkup. They got two shots (including the flu shot). Considering that Anna, Matt and I had the flu Sunday night and into Monday morning the extra protection may come in handy! Having three germy kids doesn't help the odds of us staying healthy! Thankfully Olivier and Mason were spared on this round and Anna only got sick once. Matt and I didn't get so lucky on the other hand but we survived.

Anyways, back to the fun stuff! The boys are doing great. The doctor said that Olivier may be getting his first tooth! It may take a while but at least it looks like one may be on the way. Mason is happy with his five for now, we didn't ask if it looked like more were on the way for him. They love finger foods and Mason doesn't let you pick something up off the tray and feed him, after all he is a big boy and can do it himself! Olivier is trying to crawl on all four with his belly off the ground, he gets one or two in then he either gets upset, flops on his belly, or rolls onto his back.

And here are the stats:

Olivier:
28.5" tall (40th percentile)
19 lbs 13 oz (35th percentile)

Mason:
28.25" tall (40th percentile)
20 lbs 5 oz (40th percentile)

Hard to believe since they are now in 18 month pajamas and they have some major chunk going on! Next well baby visit will be after they turn one! Wow! Can't believe how fast time is going!

Olivier is crawling!

Yeah! Olivier is crawling! He has had little bits here and there but tonight I was able to get a clip on video so we can share! We also got this photo last night and had to share!

He is slow but on the move none the less.

Mason has discovered that he can crawl out of the living room and has started exploring a bit more so now we have to really watch where we are going. And he has two more teeth, up to five now. An no, Olivier still doesn't have any! :-)

And I can't leave out that Anna is now a big girl and only in a diaper at night! Yeah! We are so proud of her!

What? :-)

Just the look on Olivier's face says it all, what? And you have to love the spike in his hair that stayed there almost all day!

At the park the boys had fun watching Anna!

Anna had a blast going down the slide! Her hair was crazy from the wind and static!
Anna was driving the rocket ship! Up up and away we go!
We were trying to get a photo of Olivier, Anna and Mason. Can you tell she loves her brothers? Mason is happy to get a kiss from his big sister!
Such a happy group! You would never know that Olivier has had a runny nose for over a week now! I guess the park makes that easier to forget.
Daddy went down the slide with the boys. He had fun and so did Mason! Olivier wasn't so sure!

More static! Yikes!

Tonight before giving the boys a bath I was playing with the boys using a whale bath toy that blows air when you squeeze it. When you put it on their belly it makes a funny sound and I am sure it felt funny and I got some great laughs out of them.

9 Wild Months

The boys are 9 months old TODAY! I managed to get a few pictures today even though Tania is out of town leaving me with the kids for three days! It's been fun but I'm more than ready for her to be home!

Olivier was pretty happy before dinner but this was his biggest smile.

Mason was full of smiles and giggles!

Olivier is actually the longer and heavier of the two boys but Mason has perfect posture and always looks "taller" when he is sitting next to Olivier. Mason has a third tooth that has broken through the gums and it looks as though one or two more are very close. Olivier is still working on that first tooth!

I'll make sure this post is updated when we get some weights and lengths on the boys but just believe me that they are big. They are stretching out their 12 month pjs and are most comfortable in 12 month onsies!

And he's off!

Mason is officially crawling! It is very similar to how Anna started crawling. I think it has made Olivier even more frustrated but I am sure he will be off to the races soon! Things just got a lot more crowded around here! :-)
