"Real" food! and Anna's phone call to Grandma

Tonight we decided to give the boys their first taste of "real" food - rice cereal. Mason seemed to really like it and would open his mouth and lean forward for more. Olivier also seemed to like it but his habit of chewing on his tongue seemed to cause a little trouble. We will keep working on it and see how it goes!

And Anna's phone call to Grandma! Bet you never knew that a solitaire game is such a good phone!

5 months old!

The boys are five months old! Wow! They both are around 14 pounds and about 25.5 inches tall.

Olivier: he rolls over almost as soon as you put him down on the ground. He likes to put weight on his legs and is starting to bounce just like his big sister did at this age. He has his opinion on what he wants and what he doesn't want and it changes by the minute. He smiles easily and still is the flirt!

Mason: he has fallen in love with his exersaucer! He gives the best shrieks of delight and stares at us like we are crazy. He doesn't roll over all the way, he will roll to his side and then usually falls asleep.

From Easter until today

More photos and videos! Yes, we love our new camera! :-) Here are some of the highlights from the last week or so!

Mason in the exersaucer for the first time! He wasn't sure what to think of it but seems to love it now!
And Olivier seemed to love it from the start!
Anna on Easter Sunday with her new Winnie the Pooh bubble machine. Talk about a happy girl!

Mason, Anna and Olivier on the floor together on Saturday morning.
On Saturday afternoon we took the boys and Anna outside to swing. We got swings for the boys and Olivier fell asleep as soon as the swing started moving. The strap ended up holding his head up!
And Mason didn't want to put his legs down. Silly boy!
Anna was enjoying her big girl swing too!

And no, it wasn't that cold (64), apparently we are those over protective parents!

Here is Olivier in his beautiful sweater from Great Aunt Marcie!
And Mason in his sweater from Great Aunt Marcie! They look so cute in them!
And Mason has the most amazing squeal! When you hear it you can't help but smile!

Something funny that we have noticed Anna doing lately is that if she doesn't know the answer to something, her response is "I don't think so". It can be quite funny to hear that response when you least expect it!

More Eli photos!

Matt was able to visit Tom, April and Eli more on Friday (bummed that it didn't work out for me) and got these awesome photos!

What we have been up to!

We got a new camera a week ago and we have been taking a lot of photos again. We have been amazed at how much the kids are growing!

Here is Mason taking a cat nap Friday night on the blankets that he loves. He often just crashed when he is on this blanket.

The boys were hanging out on Anna's big girl bed Friday night while she was getting ready for bed. Just before saying good night we got this photo of them.
Today we went to the Easter egg hunt at the Dinosaur Caves park. There was a lot of activities and Anna had a great time running around with Lina, Julie, and Andy. She has been talking about them and Joe, Heather, Audrey, John and Rachel since!
Anna and Lina stopped so we could take a photo.
This is more like them!
Anna seemed quite fascinated by the Easter bunny and actually went up to the bunny and wanted to go back a few times but would never get close enough for a good photo. Maybe next year!
Matt and Anna went hunting for eggs together in the 2 and under group. She got two eggs and was very happy!
We are waiting in line for the fishing game.

Anna in the bean bag toss!

Anna showing off her necklace. And eating a piece of candy. She wasn't too fond of it though, it was sour!
Anna and Matt with Pacific Ocean in the background.
This is what the park looks like for those out of the area. It is beautiful and we were very spoiled with nice weather!

The boys were very good in their stroller. Here is Olivier:
And Mason:

When we got home Matt was kissing the boys and was getting a lot of giggles. Lately when you are making one laugh, the other will start laughing too. We got it on video now and Anna joined in the laughs too!

Eli!!

Tom and April welcomed their son Eli into the world today. He was born at 11:42 a.m. He weighs 9 lbs 1 oz and is 21 inches long. Mom, Dad and Eli are all doing well! Welcome to the family Eli!

Busy busy

Our kids love stories, and here is another example of how they all love to hear us read. Matt was up early on Wednesday with them and when I got up this is what I found:

And this is how Anna was in her bed Monday morning. And no, the flash did not wake her up!

Anna loves her swing set and over the weekend I got this cute photo of Matt pushing her. Notice the huge grin on her face! And Olivier in the background on his swing!Anna was begging to wear her sunglasses but once she got them on, she wasn't so happy!
Can you tell she is a Daddy's girl?
The boys in their swings enjoying the great weather we had over the weekend.
Last weekend we saw David, Michelle, and Natalie. Anna loved talking to her cousin Natalie and it was great to see Natalie get so excited! They were having a lot of fun!
Anna making sure Natalie wasn't alone! And jabbering away, telling her everything that came to her mind!
