Pumpkin

Anna decorated a pumpkin in day care this week (thank you Rhonda!). She is very proud of it.

And as for me and my giant belly, I went as Mother Earth of course! :-)

Happy Halloween!

This Halloween, Anna is dressing up as Max from Where the Wild Things Are. The costume is homemade and is just white sweat pants and a white hooded sweatshirt that has buttons sewn on the front, triangles sewn for ears and a fancy boa pinned on for a tail.

Look at Anna still posing in those photos! The day she wore this outfit...she did not make mischief. :-)

Appointment

Today we had an appointment with the ob. Not too much new to report, blood pressure is okay, heartbeats are good, and he is very happy with how things are going. That includes my back pain and fairly regular contractions! Crazy doctor, those don't feel like good things!!! We are going to continue with the non-stress tests twice a week and will see him again next Tuesday.

We do now know the latest that the boys will arrive, November 16th. Yikes! That is a long time away (I know it just feels like it though). Looks like for the big birthday I could still be pregnant, yikes!

If there are any changes we will let you know!

35 WEEKS!!!

Anna likes to "help" around the house now. Here's a picture of Anna helping Mommy support the belly.

Can the boys hold out just seven more days and arrive in November?

Next top model?

We realized that we've gone several posts without any Anna pictures. Shame on us. Matt took some pictures of Anna this morning and realized that she's started posing. Enjoy our little model.

Here's a video of Anna playing with her sing-a-long bus. She's showing off the hand motions that she learned in the Mommy and Me classes long ago.

2nd non-stress test

Today I went for the second non-stress test. Blood pressure is still down and everything was looking good with the boys so I got to come home, although it did take much longer than Wednesday. Back on Monday. Seems like they are going to be sick of me. :-)

Quiet weekend awaits! Yeah!

1st non-stress test

This morning I went for the first non-stress. Good news, my blood pressure was down in a good range and they boys were doing very well! Yeah!

I have to go back on Friday for another one, then on Monday. Seems like I will have an appointment of some kind every day now. Well worth it to make sure they boys are healthy!

34 weeks down...

Today we had an appointment with the ob. Not much change from last week, I still gained weight but only a little, blood pressure is still on the high side, still very swollen. On a good note, the contractions have slowed way down! Nausea has come on strong but is to be expected with how squished my stomach is now.

Tomorrow morning I will go for my first non-stress test to see how the boys are doing. We will be going for those twice a week (unless there is an issue or concern, then we will go more often). We hope they are doing well!

He also gave us a heads up, he will be out of town this weekend! Good to know! As least I know ahead of time that if I do go into labor this weekend that he won't be here but hopeful that I won't!

Anna being Anna! :-)

Today we went to visit David, Michelle and Natalie. Anna was not shy like she usually is and played with her Uncle David! Wow! I was holding Natalie and Anna came over a few time to give love and kisses to Natalie. Here are a few photos.

Stop work order

Today we had two appointments. Our first appointment was an ultrasound appointment and we got to see the boys and find out how they are growing. Olivier is still breech (not a surprise but a bummer) and Mason is in a transverse breech position. They both weigh about 5 lbs 8 oz each. We got a photo of Mason's face, Olivier was just not in a photogenic mood!

Later in the afternoon we met with the ob and we got to hear the heartbeats again. The main topic of conversation was my swelling feet and other joints that are suffering. Given that, the sudden rapid weight gain, and sudden increase in blood pressure, I am now officially on leave. We will be going back next week to see if things have improved. Next week we will be 34 weeks along which is a critical date for development. We are still hopeful that we will make it to November 1st.

On a funny Anna note, she has a new habit. When she doesn't want to eat something you are trying to feed her, she will pretend she is asleep! She will close her eyes and drop her chin to her chest like her neck is limp and she is sound asleep. Silly girl!

Diaper party!

Today we went to Joe and Heather's diaper party hosted by April and Rachel. It was fun to see all the kids playing together! Audrey Opal will be here soon!

Anna playing (and day dreaming!)

Lina and Anna! Both soon to be big sisters!

Natalie, day 2

We went to visit Natalie again today and we brought Anna with us. We had been talking about Natalie with Anna before we went but I am sure she had no clue what we were really talking about!

Natalie sleeping away, one of her favorite things to do right now!

I am holding Natalie and Anna was saying hello and blowing kisses!

Anna sitting with Mommy and Natalie, being very gentle (see the video below, very cute!).

Matt finally got to hold Natalie! Yeah!

Here is a cute video of Anna being gentle with Natalie, but you quickly find out what her true interest is! :-)

Cousins

Today we saw David and Michelle for the last time before Natalie arrives. Very exciting to know that we will have another niece by Friday at the latest! Anna was fairly shy as usual but did play with David in her house and with Michelle on a puzzle.

Here is our last comparison belly picture. Michelle is 38 weeks along, I am 32 weeks along. (And Anna is 20 months old now!)
