Anna will be getting tubes on July 10th! Yeah! We have our fingers crossed that she is able to hang in there until then and her belly settles down. It will be great to have it behind us.
As far as the poll, boy/girl combo is in the lead! :-)

Tubes
Well, we aren't surprised and in a way thankful that maybe soon this painful chapter will be behind us. Anna will be getting tubes. We are waiting to hear from the scheduler next week so we don't know the date yet.
We will keep you posted. We got a good nights sleep last night and we all could use many more!

You may or may not believe this...
Anna has yet another ear infection. Yes, you read that right, another ear infection. We are trying something new while we wait to get in to see the ear, nose and throat doctor on Friday. She just could not hold out until then. Matt and I are exhausted... I can't imagine how Anna feels but I am sure it isn't good. Friday couldn't be here fast enough.
This part is the good news part. We should be going on the 7th to see what we are having! Yeah! Looking forward to finding out!!!

Twins update
The twins and I had a doctors appointment today (they had to come along, like it or not!). All is good. They were moving around like crazy so it took a while to confirm that both heartbeats were strong. I keep joking that we have two runners in there the way they are always moving! We will be meeting with the twin specialist in about two weeks and will get another ultrasound (and lots more to follow that!). We are very excited to find out what we are having! Yeah!
Anna's appointment with the ear, nose, and throat doctor will be on Friday morning. Keep your fingers crossed that she doesn't get an ear infection anytime soon. We all need a break! Poor thing.
Busy, busy, busy! :-)

Happy Father's Day!
Well, I somehow managed not to get a photo of Anna and her Daddy today, shame on me! Here are a few photos and a video of Anna playing with Lina water table that we thought you would enjoy!
A photo of Anna that Daddy took.

Lina enjoying her tricycle and Anna hanging out on the bench in back.

Anna loves the water. Had to take the dress off so she would have something dry to go home in! :-)

Update
Anna had a follow up on her ears yesterday and there is still fluid behind the ear drum. At this point we weren't surprised, unfortunately. We got a referral for an ear, nose and throat doctor and will meet with him and get his opinion. Basically at this point if Anna gets another cold, she will get another ear infection so we will be happy to have this behind us. We will let you know how that appointment goes.
My next appointment is on Monday, late in the afternoon. We are now 17 weeks along. Crazy! The goal is to get to 34 weeks (ideally longer of course) so that means we are at about the half way point. Wow! We will get the order from the doctor at that time and will find out what we will be having, yeah!
On another note, we are sending our love to Great Grandma. We love you! Here is a photo that I love, four generations.

Current events
First the good stuff. :-) Here is a video of Anna having fun going down the slide at a local park two weeks ago. She loves it but you have to be very careful, she doesn't always go feet first and sitting down. Silly girl! Likes to keep us on our toes!
She still makes her grrr face. You know there is trouble when you see it!
Anna in her hat that is too small enjoying reading herself a story in her rocking chair.

Now for the not so fun part. We finished this round of medication on Sunday. It has started doing a number on her system and adding that to the combination of teething and what appears to be continued ear pain we just want her to start feeling better soon! Poor Anna banana!

Argh!!!
It all started Wednesday night when Anna was trying to stick her fingers in ears. We hoped it was just a coincidence but that night she had trouble going to sleep, another sign that wasn't in our favor.
On Thursday morning she wasn't too happy but we went about our normal routine. We got a call from daycare later in the afternoon letting us know that Anna had a runny nose and was not her normal happy self. After a restless night we were thankful for her doctor's appointment Friday morning.
This morning we met with her doctor and found out that yes, Anna does have another ear infection. We are trying another type of medication and go back in two weeks. If this does not fully clear the infection and the fluid behind her ear drum, it is off to see the ear, nose and throat doctor to get tubes.
Thankfully there is no sign of hearing damage and she is saying more and more words but it is something that we don't want to continue. We are hopeful for some good news in two weeks!

Marathon Photos!
Here are the two photos I managed to snap of Matt as he reached the finish line. One is as he was approaching and one is when he is headed to the line. Of course we were cheering between shots! :-) Anna was having fun trying to use the thunder sticks that she got but couldn't quite get the hang of it.

And the amazing standing:
Overall Matt was 1,616 out of 13,291 finishers, 1,258 out of the males, and 236 out the males in his age group (25-29). Can you say awesome!!!
